The copy performance between both SSD via USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface averaged at around 750MB/s and peaked at 820MB/s, both directions wise. When the file copy test is done on an NVMe SSD connected to the system via a PCIe Gen 3 x4 interface, we can see higher copy performance from the ASUS ROG Strix Arion to the PCIe SSD that is peaked at 910MB/s. 2020. 8. 4. · On the left, we always see the variant with PCIe 3.0, on the right side the results of the SSD with PCIe 4.0 for direct comparison. In CrystalDiskMark, the SSD under PCIe 4.0 barely misses the sound barrier of 5000 MB/s in reading with the best result (with the new, empty SSD I was far above that), with the old bus it is still barely up to 3300.
